Hunts starting November 1!

Ready for some fun? :) Here are the two prizes for the hunts starting November 1! The Sinister Goth Sinners is just the perfect hunt for all fans of the Gothic style, so LnL created this unisex black on black classic and elegant outfit with a black vest, black silky jabot and a cross detail; the prize brings a female bow coat tail and a male coat bottom. A hint, search in the new Gothic area of the store and look for a roll of money!
Also starting November 1 is the Where's The Turkey. LnL decided to create an armor-type unisex outfit, completed with a resizable belt and a cool helmet. Ready for the war of hunting! This is a 1L hunt and you're looking for a golden feather!
Have fun!

Lizzie Gudkov. Pure talent right in front our eyes.

Great News!! We start This week with an amazing opportunity and a fantastic gift. Lizzie is publishing a new of her amazing texts,"It took a while",  on the prestigious blog IRez. With her brilliant narrative and vivid imagination, she invites us to dive inside the story of five torn apart sisters that come back home to face a painful past that still haunts them. Written in her wonderful style, this seven puzzle blocks inspired by pictures taken by some of the best bloggers in SecondLife will be published starting today throughout the next days.

The first piece called "Rain" is inspired by the image taken by Honour McMillan. An interesting start composed with few words but so rich that it makes the reader nothing but wait eagerly for the next one to be published soon. The following pieces, will include the images of Connie Arida, Canary Beck, Yordie Sands, Strawberry Sings, Whiskey Monday and Ziki Questi.
Talking to the author, we were able to discover some of her secrets about the story, "It was fun but it was surely a difficult gestation and birth" she said to this reporter. "It took at least four times to write it, having inspiration coming and going." It was only when she laid down all the images together that they spoke to her and she saw clear what was to be written. She also told us that she had lots of fun during the creation and that she "learned very important lessons". Congratulations Lizzie, you are definitively a marvelous writer, passionate and full of talent. After reading this first piece we already know that it is going to be a great whole, as always. Keep up the incredible job!! A+

From this blog we would like to thank Vanessa Blaylock, for the tremendous job she does at IRez. Thanks Vanessa!!

WOW! What a Way to Close the Medieval Fantasy Fair!

It was time for the Medieval Fantasy Fair II to close its doors after weeks of a lot of work by the organization team and all the merchants. It was fantastic to see many visitors enjoying the stores at the Fair and its Carnival area!
But the Fair wasn't going to come to an end quietly, oh no!
The Changhigh Sisters brought their Fireshow of Light, Life and Love to town!
The audience that filled the circus tent was in awe of the beauty, exuberance, elegance and color of the show!
The music, carefully chosen, projected the vivacity of the performances to a higher level.
There was so much to see that we are sure you'll be able to catch a lot of pictures of this event around the blogosphere! Lots of people took tons, literally tons, of photos!
We believe there was even a video recorded. We'll post the link as soon as we see it uploaded.
When the show ended (or so we thought!), the audience was invited to join the performers on stage for a bit of dancing!
BUT... it wasn't over yet!  No, no, no!
The Changhigh Sisters continued to marvel us with an extraordinary variety of dances, lights and beauty!
This was definitely  the best show of this kind we have seen in Second Life!
And it was time to go! A word of praise to the organization team and everyone who worked close with them to make this edition of the Fair an amazing event! LnL was proud to be a part of it!
See you next year at the Medieval Fantasy Fair III!

Medieval Fantasy Fair II - Final Show!

This is the final weekend of the
Medieval Fantasy Fair II with the theme "Circus".
To celebrate, there'll be a show tomorrow, Sunday, October 6th at noon SLT with the Changhigh Sisters' Fireshow of Light, Life and Love, "Second Life's only and supreme circus acrobatic fire show with a mixture of highly spiritual music and cosmic speech blended with universal insight, wisdom and philosophy" (quoted from the notecard the organization team sent out). So, join us! It'll be fun!

Medieval Fantasy Fair II - Did you know...?

... that there's a Hit The Target game at the Medieval Fantasy Fair carnival area? Take a victim... I mean, a friend with you, ask him/her to sit on the plank in the barrel. Then, go ahead and hit the target! I took a few extra baths, I must admit! London said it was his first time playing this game, but I'm not so sure of that myself! LOL Tomorrow is the last day of the Fair, so come on over and enjoy it before it's gone!

THANK YOU WONDERFUL!!!

It was a day in June 2009 when Liz started this blog. Back then I didn't even know what a blog was, lol, but with her patience and knowledge, she showed me step by step how to use the program. From that day on, I have done a few posts, but it is her the one that with  love and passion has turned this pages into something wonderful, beautiful and full of life, with amazing images and  fantastic texts. All that dedication deserves all the roses in the world and all my gratitude !! Thank you Lizzie, you are the best!! Thank you for keeping the dream alive!! Thank you for being so beautiful.  Thank you for your posts, we love them!! You always do an incredible job!! xxxxxxx/ooooooo :-)

Medieval Fantasy Fair II - Did you know...?

... that there is a Derby Horse Race in the Medieval Fantasy Fair carnival area? Make your bet and click the wheel to set those horses running! Surprisingly, I did really well in this one and even got a prize!!! Yay! Try it out and have fun!

Mass Hysteria Hunt!

The Mass Hysteria Hunt has started! LnL prepared this armor-type unisex outfit with a resizable collar and coat bottom in tones of black and grays. It should protect you from the hysteria! ;) Click the red "i" (hint giver) by the hunt posters for an updated hint! This hunt is a bit different. No landmarks to the next store are given. You must check the hunt blog. The object you're looking for is a voodoo doll and, just a suggestion, the pirates might have something to say about it!

Guy Linden!

Many of us go through Second Life without ever seeing a Linden. Well, London and I yesterday had the pleasure, once again, of having a Linden at LnL! The unmistakably blue dot on the mini-map was a dead give-away! We do have a few surprises for you related to Guy Linden's presence and the new plots of land. But... pssshhhh, this is still a secret. You didn't get it from me! We'll keep you posted on developments! :)

Medieval Fantasy Fair II - Did you know...?

... that there is a Break the Plate and a Hit the Bucket tent in the Medieval Fantasy Fair carnival area? Again... I was a disaster! LOL But a lot of people are doing really well! You can also test how strong you are! Just click the different games to receive the objects you have to throw and hit with, wear them and go for it! Have fun!

A Visit to Fotoscope!

This afternoon, I dropped by Fotoscope, a sim owned by Korgi Lerwick. Here you can find a number of ambiances, changed and updated regularly, so you can have fun and take great photos in Second Life and a store with several photography gadgets.
The sim has its own gallery. Enjoy its changing colors and exhibitions!
Korgi has this unique sense of humor, so every turn you take, you'll find fun poses to play with. The image above depicts the desert ambiance and the small detail shows how I was... logged in!
Amongst the multitude of areas available, there's a gorgeous whimsical garden.
This is a sim for photographers, but also for painters... kidding... for anyone wanting to hang out at a nice, different location (yes, there are a few dance balls :) So, come on over to Fotoscope and enjoy!
